The Phalanx is a small, battle-tested community of multichain collectors, traders and builders. We began inside one of Solana’s earliest NFT communities, expanded into Ethereum as an independent DAO, survived multiple market cycles and eventually built an identity of our own. *** ### Origins The story began with [**Taiyo Robotics**](https://twitter.com/TaiyoRobotics). Taiyo launched into enormous hype on Solana before being rugged by its original owners. The project was later taken over by [**Solport Tom**](https://twitter.com/SolportTom), who derugged it, rebuilt the collection and helped establish Taiyo as one of Solana’s recognized blue-chip NFT projects. The community that would eventually become The Phalanx formed within that ecosystem. As Ethereum NFT activity accelerated, a group of us broke away to establish **TaiyoETH** — an independent DAO focused on opportunities beyond Solana. During the Blur stimulus era, while activity on Solana slowed, TaiyoETH established itself across Ethereum through trading, collecting and coordinated participation.

### Black Pyramid Origins A major turning point came with the acquisition of the abandoned **Black Pyramid Alpha DAO** and its NFT collection. The community and collection were brought under TaiyoETH, becoming an important part of our history and laying the foundation for what would follow. **Black Pyramid Origins** remains the genesis collection of The Phalanx. ### Through the Bear The market collapsed. Bitcoin fell toward $14,000. Solana traded below $10. Projects disappeared and communities emptied out. We remained active. The DAO adapted through Ethereum trading, airdrop hunting, research, alpha sharing and coordinated participation across emerging ecosystems. Over time, the group consolidated around the members who continued to contribute. *** ### From TaiyoETH to TaiyoX As activity returned across multiple chains, an Ethereum-only identity no longer represented what the community had become. TaiyoETH evolved into **TaiyoX**: a smaller and more focused multichain group built around its active core.

The final step was independence from the Taiyo name. Taiyo Robotics remains part of our origin story, but the community had developed its own history, culture and direction. TaiyoX became **The Phalanx**. *** ### The Phalanx Today The Phalanx remains what it has always been at its core: a small group of people who stayed through every cycle. We collect, trade, build and move across chains without tying ourselves to a single ecosystem. What began inside Taiyo evolved through Ethereum, Pyramids and years of shared experience into an independent community with its own identity. NOVA are the next expression of that identity — 250 unique 1/1 characters built around the people standing within The Phalanx. The group remains deliberately small. The chains may change. The formation holds.
