# What is The Phalanx?

### The Phalanx

We are an elite formation of multichain web3 operators.\
We do not pledge loyalty to any single chain—**we march where the flow is strongest** and take our gains with precision.

We are investors. We are degens. And we are relentless.

### Origins

We began as **TaiyoETH**, an ETH-focused approved SubDAO of [@TaiyoRobotics](https://twitter.com/TaiyoRobotics), a Solana bluechip.\
Early turbulence struck—the project was rugged by its initial owners.\
Then, [@SolportTom](https://twitter.com/SolportTom) stepped in, derugged it, and reforged it into one of Solana’s most tech-driven collections.

During the Blur stimulus era, while Solana’s NFT scene slowed, we thrived in ETH for months, securing a strong position.

### Black Pyramid Integration

A turning point came when we absorbed the [**Black Pyramid Alpha DAO**](https://twitter.com/BLKPYMDGroup) with an NFT pass, rescuing it from inactive owners.\
From this, **Black Pyramid Origins** became our genesis collection

Bear Market Trial

The deep bear market came. Bitcoin to $14k. Solana under $10.\
Projects vanished. Communities scattered.\
We endured—pivoting to airdrop hunting, building an unmatched forum, and setting new standards for grind and execution.\
Many left the field. We stayed.

### Evolution

As Solana revived—driven by the rise of gaming—we chose the multichain path.\
ETH alone was no longer enough.\
We rebranded to **TaiyoX**, purged over 200 inactive holders, and rebuilt as a sharper, more focused unit.

We shed the Taiyo name entirely.\
